Best readily available flat burr grinder

I'd grab a cheap used super jolly but I certainly wouldn't pay new. The DF64 seems to be readily available now potentially even with SSP. That would be a fine route, equally good as the super jolly but cheaper and easier to modify. But I bet you'll still look to upgrade. For me I grabbed a Niche at one

Rocket R60v not pressurising if left on 30 minutes or more...

JRising, thanks for the interest! (fr/eng translated by Google) Unfortunately, this is a sporadic problem. This morning, everything is working perfectly. The water flow and the pressure with the filter holder/coffee or filter holder/blank are normal. Motor/pump sound and stepper valve are OK. I'll have to wait for the problem to show up again to check

Bad smell when opening frozen coffee bag

John, one more question - I often get beans that are 2days after roast. I used to think that they needed to outgass a few more days before freezing, Do you have any thoughts about that? THANKS!!!!!!

Timemore Nano versus 1Zpresso Q2 for backpacking & travel

Hi, I'm searching for a new compact hand grinder for backpacking & travel to replace my worn out Porlex. I'll be using it for Aeropress, Clever Dripper & Pour Over and have narrowed it down to either the Timemore Nano or 1Zpresso Q2 as both will fit in the barrel of an Aeropress. I was wondering if anybody had

Espresso water with whole house water "conditioner"

Hello-- New user here. I have been lurking for a while -- you guys are GREAT, I have learned a lot. Here's a question that I think is right up your alley and I would really appreciate some input. We have an APEC whole house system (coconut carbon filter then water conditioner) plus RO at the
