Home Barista is developing a consolidated space for folks interested in buying or trading green coffee in one easy to manage location. If you are interested in distributing, acquiring, or trading green coffee, this is the thread to do so.
  • Want to see if there's interest in a potential distribution? Post it here, then remind interested buyers to take the conversation to PM
  • Want to buy someone's listed coffee? Post your interest here, then take the conversation to PM
  • Want to sell some greens you already have on hand? Post it here, then take the conversation to PM
  • HB will not participate in moderating any aspect of the Green Coffee Exchange. Prices and details of such transactions are solely the responsibility of the parties involved.
Note that in the future, we'll consider a framework that allows green coffee vendors to directly engage and promote their greens here.

Please take roasting profile discussions outside of this thread. That will increase participation in profiling, and keep this section organized to just the exchange of green coffee. The Greens Alert thread will remain and hopefully return to what it was originally designed for; a place to point out interesting coffees. But anything related to the trade/sale/exchange of any greens should go here and won't require as much moderator involvement.

Thanks

As a reminder, this thread is only for member-to-member exchanges. The site's Vendor participation in the forums and No commercial posts rules apply. To keep back-and-forth discussions on the specifics of an exchange to a minimum, please heed Tom's reminder to post and "then take the conversation to PM".

This is a handy thread to have found! I just bought a full bag of Royal's Crown Jewel Banko Gotiti Natural Bedhatu Jibicho (see link below). I roast regularly for friends and family, so it's mostly for that, but I'm happy to sell some of the greens here. PM me if you're interested!

As an example, consider one of Klatch Coffee's "12 Days of Christmas Deals", 20% off green and organic coffees. 8)

Note that it's for today only. Klatch isn't actively promoting this in the Marketplace; it's such a good deal, I'm doing it for them.

UPDATE: This box is spoken for. Once I receive it, I'll email the guys involved and get it out. Can't wait to try it....

I'd like to split a box of this Crown Jewel from Peru:

PERU CHALLHUAMAYO FINCA TASTA HONEY CROWN JEWEL

PM me if you're interested.

Patty, what is it about this coffee that you are enjoying.
We like Peru and are enjoying the Peru Fair Trade Organic Communidad Lucmabamba from Sweet Marias. We bought 20 lbs.

What I don't understand about Crown Royal is their terminology - is the viscosity really Fudge Pudding and Cream ? The terminology makes it sound really hard to trust the tasting notes.

I haven't bought the box yet Michael, so I can't make a judgment. I roast for the department at work, and it sounds like something folks would really enjoy.

Will be placing the order this weekend, so, as long as they're not closed for the holiday, I should have it next week.
